Old Buisness:

There is no new information regarding insurance - Ron Fairbanks proposed a new idea regarding contacting BASS directly for requesting information.
Sad News - Announcement made regarding the tragic loss of
Jim Bailey Sr.'s grandson David.
All members pass their condolences to Jim!
Discussion regarding new meeting site - Mack checked into Ryans on 29; no minimum, no requirement to eat there, can enter the restaurant and go straight back to the meeting without paying but do not share with someone that is eating. Sonny's on New Warrington is another option, same guidelines apply.

Discussion regarding action to take resulted in motion presented and carried to take a vote regarding alternate sites in the event we have to leave Founaris Brothers. Vote was taken and Ryans was selected as the alternate site, the President will discuss our position with Founaris Brothers owner after tonight's meeting; pointing out our reduced membership resulting in inability to meet designated minimum. Propose new minimum based on club size or remove min all together.

John Buck was voted in as Lifetime member - by unanimous vote as required by the constitution. There was discussion regarding the new procedure put into place regarding the lifetime membership nomination/voting procedure. Consensus appeared favorable.

New Buisness:

John Buck announced he has discussed with Florida State Fishery Biologist, John Knight - regarding study being conducted on area rivers. John Buck invited Mr. Knight to speak at our next meeting in January and he has agree to do so. Mr. Knight will discuss the study he is involved in regarding the ecology of the river systems and the mortality and growth rate of the area Bass population. This will be very informative - all members should try to attend and bring friends.

Jim Bailey Sr. announced - as a result of the popularity of the new teal club hat - he will be ordering more without the logo, various colors -$2.50 per hat. Anyone interested in placing an order see him after the meeting.
John Buck made some comments regarding the last tournament specifically regarding the small size of the group but how much fun it was and how much everyone helped out and worked together - he really appreciated it.

Kevin is looking for a small aluminum bass boat (17 footer) for a friend if anyone knows about one.

This month's tournament is at Escambia, John Buck is inviting all members to meet at Waffle House on 29 & 9 Mile behind CVS for breakfast
4:15 ish.

Hawg Want A Be

~Know Your Hawgs~

Say hello to Don Jahnky.
Heck!!...I can't think of anyone that don't know Don.
The only tournament I ever fished with Don was my guest tournament 13 years ago. He ran to the interstate bridge on the Tensaw and almost froze my nose off before stopping. Sorry about the rain on the Escambia tournament but I had to do some powerful war dancing to work something up for him...hehe
Don was a ton a fun to fish with.
